Categorizator – is like directory of all categories on site. Such page is good to help users navigate on site, also, such page can be used on home page as module. There are several things for this from 4.4 version
1. Categorizator shortcode.
Shortcode has some options. By default it shows you all categories, but you can enable or disable definite categories.
2. Second way is to use category carts (you can use them not only for categories).
You can find cart box module in shortcodes and also in Visual Composer modules.
